Menorah Medical Center

Nicole Robbins gave birth to a bouncing baby girl on Tuesday … Sylvia (named after Nicole's deceased "grammy") was born at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park at 5:21 a.m. and weighs in at 7 pounds 2 oz and is a petite 18-inches long. Mom, Sylvia, 3-year-old son Braydon and dad Preston are all doing well, except Preston, a specialist in the Army, is miles and miles away serving his country in Afghanistan.

The Family Birthing Center at Menorah, known for its above-and-beyond service, was able to Skype the delivery so Preston could experience the miracle of Sylvia's birth … a continent away.

"I'm beyond thrilled that Preston was able to see Sylvia enter this world in real time!" says Nicole. "He can say he was at the birth of his daughter, even though he wasn't in the room."
