Menorah Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health System—Kansas City’s largest healthcare network and private-sector employee—has named Rob Coe director of Physician Relations and Business Development of Menorah Medical Center. Coe joins the leadership team of the award-winning, full-service, acute-care facility that has a medical staff with more than 600 physicians covering the spectrum of specialties and offers compassionate care and advanced technology for patients. The Commission on Cancer accredits Midwest Cancer Care at Menorah Medical Center as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. The Joint Commission recently recognized the hospital as one of four Kansas City top performers on key measures, specifically for its exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes shown to improve care for heart attack and pneumonia and surgical care.

Coe has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years and most recently served as physician liaison for a 40-hospital system in California. "Menorah's facility has always impressed me," says Coe, who was born in Salina, raised in western Kansas and is a third-generation Kansas State University alum. "But it was the people who impacted me. This hospital's culture is unique and the foundation begins with the people. There is a profound difference at Menorah. Everyone has ownership—from colleagues in supporting departments to physicians, nurses and staff."

Coe will provide customer service to Menorah’s physicians, which in turn means the patients. "It's a privilege to work with highly driven professionals such as the 600-plus physicians on Menorah's medical staff,” says Coe. “We are all extremely committed to providing quality patient care."

Amy Leiker, vice president of marketing and development at Menorah Medical Center, says Coe will provide a vital link to the physicians and the care they provide patients. "Rob is another example of our employees continually raising the bar on healthcare offered to residents in Johnson County and beyond," says Leiker. “We are fortunate to add another expert such as Rob Coe to our team.”
