Accidental drowning is the third leading cause of death in those under 19 and the leading cause of death in children ages 1-4. Fortunately, drowning is preventable, says Dr. Denise Miller with Menorah Medical Center. Her advice: take formal swim lessons, learn CPR and always wear a lifejacket.
