Types of cancer we treat

We diagnose and treat a wide range of cancers, including:

Breast cancer detection and care

Our women's health program features traditional mammography and advanced breast imaging procedures, so women in our community have access to comprehensive screenings. In an effort to provide care for woman with all types of breast conditions, we perform breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and breast ultrasounds in addition to mammography. If any abnormalities are detected, we can perform biopsies to identify if breast canceris present.

Our women's health program is supported by breast specialists who offer high-quality diagnostic and interventional breast care. We ensure patients receive thorough screenings and advanced treatments for breast cancer.

Schedule a mammogram

When treatment is needed, our breast surgeons use the latest techniques, including robotic surgery, to perform a range of specialized breast surgeries, including:

  • Hidden scar breast surgery
  • Lumpectomy
  • Mastectomy
  • Plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery

Colorectal cancer detection and care

We offer screenings and treatment for cancers of the large intestine (colon) and rectum. Cancerous tumors in this region usually start as small polyps. One of the best ways to detect these polyps is with a colonoscopy.

Our colorectal specialists perform colonoscopies to identify any polyps or suspicious tissue. If abnormalities are found, we will collect a sample of the suspicious tissue and send it to our laboratory to determine if it is cancerous or benign.

If cancer is detected, our colorectal surgeons use robotic surgery to remove cancerous tissue. Robotic surgery allows our surgeons to operate in hard-to-reach places with extreme precision using only a few small incisions.

Lung cancer screening

We are committed to bringing screening awareness and accessibility to people at a high risk of developing lung cancer. That's why we offer low-dose computerized tomography (CT) lung screenings, which help physicians detect suspicious nodules that are not visible in X-rays.

Current and former smokers who have no symptoms of lung cancer and have smoked the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes per day for 30 years may qualify for low-dose CT screening.

Personalized cancer treatment

Our dedicated patient navigators are oncology-trained nurses who serve as points of contact for patients throughout their cancer journey. Patient navigators offer educational resources, explain diagnoses and treatments and inform patients about national clinical trials.

In addition to patient navigation, patients have access to some of the most advanced cancer therapies , genetic testing, clinical research trials, cancer support and wellness and cancer rehabilitation.
