Dr. Hannah is board-certified in surgery and thoracic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Hannah has been named a Super Doctor each year since 2007 and received the 2008 Physician Frist Humanitarian Award by Menorah Medical Center. He has served as chief of cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center and medical staff president for Menorah Medical Center. Dr. Hannah completed his surgical residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals and completed a thoracic and cardiovascular surgery residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
